Yuksel Demir

Yuksel Demir graduated from ITU Department of Architecture (1987), and completed his MSc (1990) and PhD studies (2000) in ITU Graduate School of Science, Engineering and Technology. He teaches Architectural Design (studio & theory) at the Department of Architecture (since 1989), he is leading the Urban Design Studios in Interdsiciplinary Urban Design Master Program (since 2007). He founded ITU Mardin Interdisciplinary Research & Development Center in 2005. He is also the head of the Department of Fine Arts (since 2007).

His research topics are: Architectural Design, Urban Design, ICT in Design, Art & Design, Use of Local Values (natural & cultural) in Architecture.
